Cannes is calling! MIP-TV, Europe's major tv-market for all genres, and MIPDOC, a special market targeted to documentary buyers which takes place during two days preceding MIP-TV, is coming up. Furthermore, the multimedia market MILIA is running alongside MIP-TV from 7 - 11 April.
Producers' Participation
If you are interested in participating as a producer, FkN recommends that you do so via The Marketplace, commissioned by MEDIA to organize the MEDIA Umbrella Stand, which welcomes independent European producers at special rates and conditions.

Filmkontakt Nord offers to represent your film
If you are not able to participate yourself, FkN will be present at both MIP-TV and MIPDOC to promote recent documentary films from all of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) to a broad segment of international buyers.
The films are presented in a special flyer, distributed during the market, and FkN will meet the interested TV-buyers and distributors for further information. After the market, FkN will provide the producers with individual reports on meetings and screenings, for the producers to follow up on accordingly.
If you have a documentary film for sale, we recommend you to enter it in the MIPDOC catalogue and videoteque also for ultimate exposure.
The FkN proposal includes:
presentation of the film in FkN's MIP-TV promotional flyer distributed during the market
FkN meetings with TV-buyers and distributors to present your film(s) during the events in Cannes
a full report on screenings and meetings concerning your film and how to follow up
registration of your film in the FkN database and exposure at the FkN website - now including trailers and full length streaming for registered festivals, buyers and sales agents
screening cassette in the FkN video library, visited by festivals, buyers and sales agents throughout the year
inclusion of your film in Nordisk Panorama Market 2008 visited by festivals, buyers, sales agents and other professionals
